The 20th Belfast Pride Festival is attracting lots of attention, and we can now confirm some of the big names who will be taking part in one form or another! The NASUWT Teachers Union has invited their UK Chairperson Chris Keates to their event during Pride week, and can confirm that Chris Gibbons from the charity Stonewall will be attending.

Northern Ireland's Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness being interviewed for 'Pride, Sweat and Tears'.
Our friends in Amnesty International will be presenting well known Irish Senator David Norris as their guest lecturer, and we are delighted to announce that Senator Norris will be taking part in our ‘Pride Talks Back’ panel as well.
And we are proud as punch to say that Belfast’s newest Member of Parliament, Naomi Long, and Northern Ireland Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness has taken part in the filming of the specially commissioned documentary on Belfast Pride’s 20 years. Both were full of praise for Pride, and wish us well in our twentieth year!
Full details on the documentary, and all the other events in a packed Festival Week, will be unveiled at the Anniversary Dinner, and then in the Pride Guide, out in the first week of July!
