The Rainbow Project in partnership with Social Farms and Gardens and GROW NI are inviting you to this fun family friendly event for LGBTQ+ people and their friends and families.
Where: GROW NI community garden, in the Waterworks Park, at the end of Westland Gardens.

You are invited to help the team at Grow to clear a new area for an edible landscape. We will carry out some practical work, have some refreshments and finish with a simple planting activity.
Grow Community Garden has some wheelchair accessibility, and are happy to accommodate participants with mobility needs, just get in touch to discuss your needs before the event. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make it easier for you to attend this event.
Children under supervision of parents/guardians.
If you have gardening gloves please bring them.
– Started in 2008, GROW is a small charity working with communities to create community gardens in their area. It’s as much about growing community as it is about growing food and flowers.
– Social Farms & Gardens (SF&G) exists to support and represent the farmers, gardeners and growers who run life-changing projects in our urban and rural communities in the UK.

Please note, there is very limited parking at the Grow Community Garden and on Westland Gardens leading to the garden.
There are a small number of parking spaces beside the gates of the garden for anyone with limited mobility. Everyone else we would encourage to park on either Westland Road or the Cavehill Road and to arrive at the garden on foot either via the Waterworks Park or Westland Gardens.
